ndrea Le is an aspiring LPGA Tour superstar, highlighted in her 2022 win at the Portland Classic. Lee is an emerging star in the world of LPGA, that was exemplified by her debut win in the Portland Classic in 2022. Lee also has won 9 times in her collegiate times at Standford University and was ranked top in the world for 17 weeks. In 2019, she won the Mark H. McCormack Medal for being the highest-ranked women's amateur in the final week of the season, and became a professional in the following year. Andrea Lee is a Los Angeles native born in the month of August in 1998. James James taught her at age 5 to play the game of golf. In four years she won 50 junior titles. She was a finalist at in 2014 at the US Women's Open at Pinehurst No. aged 15 with her dad playing as her caddie. She missed out on making her LPGA Tour cut at the 2015 ANA Inspiration by just one shot. Lee was part of the US's Junior Ryder Cup Junior Solheim Cup Curtis Cup and Women's World Amateur Team Championship. When she joined Stanford University in 2016 she became the most decorated player in its history in that moment. Over the next three years she was awarded nine individual titles. Lee quit Stanford University to turn pro in the year 2019. Her amateur career includes 17 weeks as she was the World Amateur Golf Ranking leader. Lee received an award called the Mark H. McCormack award for the 2019 season after being the number one amateur. Lee was an amateur of the top who achieved four albatrosses and four holes in one. The first time she played playing on the LPGA Tour saw her finish with two places in the top 10 spots. She was 7th at the AIG Women's Open in 2020 that was played in the Kingsbarns Golf Links. Lee's first LPGA Tour victory came in 2022 in the Portland Classic. The victory is dedicating to her late grandfather Min. He called me champions, and believed in me. I was super grateful for her and am sure that he's watching today. She previously competed in soccer taekwondo and figure skating. Lee's interests outside of golf include shopping, movies and even singing. Also, she loves snowboarding.
